News: Our new National Educator for GKMBJ
Our team would like to welcome Laura Edgar as our new National Educator for GKMBJ. Laura is a young enthusiastic, passionate educator based in N.S.W.
Her role at GKMBJ involves keeping her clients up to speed and providing technical support in the use of colour and colour correction. She is also on call to answer all hair related questions, such as providing information on why, when and where to use specific products and tools, and provides salons and wholesalers details in the use of new products.
A former business owner with a vast knowledge and experience within all aspects of the Hair, Make-up and Beauty Industry. Laura started her journey whilst still at school, her passion leading her to work within our industry working in a salon for work experience. After finishing school, she went straight into hair and make-up college. Her enthusiasm and flair for the work impressed her instructors, they in turn put her forward to carry out assignments working in a professional capacity gaining a valuable insight into the business. Whilst juggling salon work with professional contracts in the entertainment industry, she opened her own company.
With Laura's commitment to the Hair, Make-up and Beauty Industry, she gained work in T.V. Commercials, Sitcoms and Movies, her passion leading her to work overseas in the U.S.A and U.K..
On return to Australia she has been focused on and directing her energy into education, sharing her passion, skills and knowledge with like minded enthusiasts. Her first job was a combined educator/sales role before moving into a full time education position taking her across the country, and introducing and instructing the use of a wide range of local and imported products from all the top brands.
